New exclusive through unifi TV: Lionsgate play treats Malaysian viewers with premium content
Starting July until 12th October 2022, all new and existing unifi TV Packs subscribers (Ultimate Pack, Varnam Plus Pack, Aneka Plus Pack and Ruby Plus Pack) can enjoy 90-day access to Lionsgate Play for free when they activate it through https://activate.unifi.com.my/lgp/.
Introduced to Malaysian audiences in October last year, the international streaming platform offers unique blockbuster movies, premium originals, old favourites and binge-worthy TV shows that resonate with urban audiences between the ages of 25 to 45. From action, drama, and romance to thrillers and comedy, Lionsgate Play Malaysia in partnership with unifi TV offers several exclusive premium titles for the whole family.

Corrective Measures – a sci-fi movie set in the world's most dangerous maximum-security penitentiary, tensions among inmates and staff heighten, leading to anarchy. The gripping story stars Bruce Willis and Michael Rooker, and is written, produced and directed by Sean O'Reilly based on the graphic novel by Grant Chastain.
Vendetta – when his daughter is brutally murdered, William Duncan takes the law into his own hands. After killing the street thug directly responsible for her death, he finds himself in a war with the thug's brother and his gang, who are equally hell-bent on getting revenge for their fallen member. Another Bruce Willis film, the movie also stars Thomas Jane and Theo Rossi.
Jungle Cry – a riveting sports drama based on the real-life story of Indian rugby coach Rudraksh Jena of Bhubaneswar's Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), who guided a team of 12 rural Odisha boys to a historic victory in the Junior Rugby World Cup in England in 2007. Starring Abhay Deol and Emily Shah, the film is helmed by Sagar Ballary.

TM Adopts 35 Schools Under Sekolah Angkat Malaysia MADANI, Strengthening Commitment to Nation Building
KUALA LUMPUR, 21 August 2025 – Telekom Malaysia Berhad (“TM” or “the Group”), through its foundation arm, Yayasan TM (YTM), has strengthened its commitment to nation building by adopting 35 schools under the Government’s Sekolah Angkat Malaysia MADANI initiative. Spanning across the country, particularly in remote and underserved areas, the initiative is driven by the Group’s greater purpose to empower future talents and build a more inclusive future through education and technology. At the heart of this initiative is TM Future Skills (TMFS) programme, designed to enhance digital skills among students from B40 or low-income families by integrating digital technologies into their learning experiences. Under the programme, selected “nucleus” schools will be allocated with a digital hub aiming to spark students’ interest in digital exploration and STEM subjects. These hubs are equipped with resources such as PocketLab, robotics kits, 3D printers, drones, tablets and digital learning content. The 2025 TMFS curriculum has been further enhanced to include artificial intelligence (AI) and coding, aligned with the demands of Industry 4.0 and Malaysia’s future digital talents aspirations. TM Group Chief Executive Officer, Amar Huzaimi Md Deris said, “These schools will not only serve their own students but will also extend support and knowledge-sharing to neighbouring satellite schools. This strategic approach enables us to scale the impact of our efforts and reach far beyond the adopted schools themselves, with an estimated 65,000 students nationwide set to benefit from this initiative. “Since we introduced the TMFS programme in 2023, we have established three “nucleus” schools and positively impacted over 10,000 students and 1,000 teachers. It is our way of ensuring that no one is left behind in Malaysia’s journey towards becoming a digital nation,” said Amar. Meanwhile, outstanding Form 4 and Form 5 students from these schools are also eligible for TM’s Young Leaders Scholarship, which serves as a platform to identify candidates for YTM’s Future Leaders Scholarship, offering full financial aid for tertiary studies. “We have always believed that education is the most powerful way to empower the future. TM and Cybersecurity Malaysia join forces to strengthen national cyberspace resilience
Both companies will leverage each other’s expertise, technical capabilities and global best practices to create a safer and more robust cyber ecosystem. Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) via its enterprise and public sector business solutions arm, TM ONE, today sealed a Memorandum of Collaboration (MoC) with CyberSecurity Malaysia, the national cybersecurity specialist agency under the purview of the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia Malaysia (KKMM), to empower and strengthen the level of cybersecurity in Malaysia. The MoC was signed in a virtual event by Dato' Ts. Dr. Haji Amirudin Abdul Wahab FASc, Chief Executive Officer, CyberSecurity Malaysia and Imri Mokhtar, Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO), TM. TM GLOBAL EXPANDS DATA CENTRES IN CYBERJAYA AND JOHOR TO STRENGTHEN NATION’S DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION
KUALA LUMPUR, 11 NOVEMBER 2024 – TM Global, TM’s wholesale business arm, will expand its Klang Valley Data Centre (KVDC) in Cyberjaya and Iskandar Puteri Data Centre (IPDC) in Johor, addressing the growing demand for domestic and international data hosting services. This is the next phase in TM’s strategic roadmap to grow its infrastructure ecosystem and position Malaysia as a preferred digital hub in Southeast Asia, aligning with its aspiration to become a Digital Powerhouse by 2030. These expansions and TM’s partnership with Nxera to develop a new, hyperconnected, AI-ready data centre, lays the foundation for digital services such as cloud, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things. Scheduled for commercial operations in 2025, the second phase of both KVDC and IPDC will deliver a combined IT load of about 20MW. The expansion will meet Uptime Institute’s Tier-III standards, and the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver rating for long-term sustainability, a globally recognised green building certification.
