TM ONE-USIM COLLABORATION TO ENHANCE UNIVERSITY’S DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION AND IMPROVE DIGITAL LEARNING EXPERIENCES
TM One, the business-to-business arm of TM, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) for a strategic partnership to enhance the university’s digital transformation and improve student experiences in digital learning.
Officiated on 6 March, the MOU was signed by Professor Dato’ Dr. Sharifudin Md. Shaarani, Vice Chancellor of USIM and Shazurawati Abd Karim, Executive Vice President, TM One.
To support USIM’s smart innovation journey, the partnership will be anchored on three (3) pillars, namely: the co-creation of an innovation ecosystem, talent development, and the sharing of insights on higher education and business trends – with the goal of developing USIM into a smart university.
Developing these pillars will allow USIM to pave its way towards a more seamless digital learning experience and improve its student experience processes. This includes online examinations, IT integration, security of sensitive data and intellectual property, smart solutions on campus, and end-to-end mobility solutions. Most importantly, this partnership will enable a more collaborative learning approach between USIM’s faculty and students, aligning the university to the needs of today’s global learners.
Professor Dato’ Dr. Sharifudin said, ”We are pleased to partner TM One in inculcating a data-first and digital-first mindset among our students, faculty and staff, which aligns us with the goals of MyDIGITAL and the Government’s digital aspirations. This collaboration comes at a timely and necessary stage of our development and will allow us to springboard to the next phase of our role in empowering future leaders and game-changers.”
Drawing on its broad range of solutions, TM One will support USIM’s digital transformation plan in five (5) different clusters; Smart Governance, Smart Infrastructure, Smart Services, Smart Learning and Smart Lifestyle.

TM One securing trust in digital transactions via blockchain technology for Indonesian market
PT VADS Indonesia to become the sole distributor of FNSV Blockchain Secure Authentication (BSA) products and solutions for the Indonesian market. The strategic partnership affirms TM One's commitment and readiness to take the digital transformation of enterprise and public sector forward for Malaysia and Indonesia. TM One, the enterprise and public sector business solutions arm of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), together with PT VADS Indonesia, a wholly subsidiary company of TM ONE, recently inked a business agreement with FNS Value Co., Limited (FNSV) from Korea, to appoint PT VADS as the sole distributor of Blockchain Secure Authentication (BSA) solution for the Indonesian market. The signing ceremony was conducted virtually and the documents were signed using TM One Digital Signature Solution (TMODS). It is a certified online signing platform, compliant to Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) Digital Signature Act 1997, making the document legally-binding and recognised by Malaysian court of law. Signing on behalf TM One was Ahmad Taufek Omar, Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of TM One and PT VADS was represented by Saravanan Belusami, Chief Executive Officer of PT VADS while FNSV was represented by JEON Seung Ju, its Chief Executive Officer. TM One LEAP Summit 2022 poised to advance next-gen enterprise transformation with world-class innovators
TM One’s annual flagship event LEAP Summit returns for a fifth year, anchoring on the theme ‘Enabling Your Next: Innovate and Transform’ TM One, the enterprise and government sector business solutions arm of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), held its high-impact annual flagship event, LEAP Summit 2022 today, aimed at propelling enterprise innovation and transformation as Malaysian businesses take advantage of the nation’s initial economic recovery. The fifth in its series, LEAP Summit 2022 themed ‘Enabling Your Next: Innovate & Transform’, brought together world-class digital experts and over 200 of Malaysia’s top decision makers to better understand how these leaders could unleash their innovation potential and take their businesses to the next level.
