TM One, the business-to-business arm of TM, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) for a strategic partnership to enhance the university’s digital transformation and improve student experiences in digital learning.
Officiated on 6 March, the MOU was signed by Professor Dato’ Dr. Sharifudin Md. Shaarani, Vice Chancellor of USIM and Shazurawati Abd Karim, Executive Vice President, TM One.
To support USIM’s smart innovation journey, the partnership will be anchored on three (3) pillars, namely: the co-creation of an innovation ecosystem, talent development, and the sharing of insights on higher education and business trends – with the goal of developing USIM into a smart university.
Developing these pillars will allow USIM to pave its way towards a more seamless digital learning experience and improve its student experience processes. This includes online examinations, IT integration, security of sensitive data and intellectual property, smart solutions on campus, and end-to-end mobility solutions. Most importantly, this partnership will enable a more collaborative learning approach between USIM’s faculty and students, aligning the university to the needs of today’s global learners.

TM One and UMW sign Memorandum of Intent to embark on co-development of digital solutions for industries in Malaysia
TM One, the business solutions arm of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) and UMW Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (UMW) today signed a Memorandum of Intent (MoI) on a strategic partnership to develop digital solutions aimed at enhancing and empowering Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR4.0) requirements for industries in Malaysia, making it more productive, agile and future-ready. The MoI was signed by Badrul Feisal bin Abdul Rahim, President & Group Chief Executive Officer, UMW Holdings Berhad on behalf of UMW Corporation Sdn. Bhd. and Dato' Noor Kamarul Anuar bin Nuruddin, Group Chief Executive Officer, TM representing TM One.
