TM ONE-USIM COLLABORATION TO ENHANCE UNIVERSITY’S DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION AND IMPROVE DIGITAL LEARNING EXPERIENCES
TM One, the business-to-business arm of TM, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) for a strategic partnership to enhance the university’s digital transformation and improve student experiences in digital learning.
Officiated on 6 March, the MOU was signed by Professor Dato’ Dr. Sharifudin Md. Shaarani, Vice Chancellor of USIM and Shazurawati Abd Karim, Executive Vice President, TM One.
To support USIM’s smart innovation journey, the partnership will be anchored on three (3) pillars, namely: the co-creation of an innovation ecosystem, talent development, and the sharing of insights on higher education and business trends – with the goal of developing USIM into a smart university.
Developing these pillars will allow USIM to pave its way towards a more seamless digital learning experience and improve its student experience processes. This includes online examinations, IT integration, security of sensitive data and intellectual property, smart solutions on campus, and end-to-end mobility solutions. Most importantly, this partnership will enable a more collaborative learning approach between USIM’s faculty and students, aligning the university to the needs of today’s global learners.
Professor Dato’ Dr. Sharifudin said, ”We are pleased to partner TM One in inculcating a data-first and digital-first mindset among our students, faculty and staff, which aligns us with the goals of MyDIGITAL and the Government’s digital aspirations. TM set to empower educational institution in Penang with dedicated premium network connectivity and smart school system solution
Smart collaboration with Wesley Methodist School Penang International elevates the institution to become the 1st school in Malaysia with an integrated digital lifestyle Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) via its business solutions arm, TM ONE recently signed a Collaboration Agreement with Wesley Methodist School Penang (International) (WMSP(I)) for the deployment and provisioning of TM’s dedicated premium network connectivity namely DOME service. Under the collaboration, TM will also be provisioning TM’s smart school system solution to the school and the total solution includes the School Management System (SMS), Learning Management System (LMS) and School Attendance System (SAS). Gamuda Land and TM embark on strategic collaboration on converged telecommunications services for Gamuda Gardens
