Datuk Bazlan bin Osman, 60, a Malaysian, was appointed as Independent Non-Executive Director (INED) and Chairman of Board Audit Committee of TM on 30 May 2024.

Tan Sri Yong Poh Kon, 78, a Malaysian, has been appointed as Independent Non-Executive Director of TM effective 30 M

Datuk Dr. Shahrazat Haji Ahmad, 55, a Malaysian, was appointed as Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of TM on 15 December 2023. She is currently the Deputy Secretary General of Treasury (Investment) with the Ministry of Finance (MoF).

She graduated from MARA Institute of Technology (ITM) in 1993 with an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and later attained both her Masters and Doctorate in Social Sciences in International Economics from International University of Japan and The University of Kitakyushu, Japan, respectively.

Ahmad Taufek Omar, 55, a Malaysian, is appointed as Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of TM on 1 November 2023.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.BA Hons) from the International Islamic University, Malaysia and completed the INSEAD General Management Programme.

Iszad Jeffri Ismail, aged 43, a Malaysian, was appointed as Non-Independent Non-Executive Alternate Director to Datuk Dr. Shahrazat Haji Ahmad on 15 December 2023.

Rossana, aged 58, a Malaysian, was appointed as Independent Non-Executive Director of TM on 22 November 2021.

Datuk Siti Zauyah, aged 64, a Malaysian, was appointed as Independent Non-Executive Director of TM on 10 June 2020. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Quantity Surveying from the University of Reading, United Kingdom in 1982 and obtained Diploma in Public Administration from the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN) in 1989.

Saheran Suhendran, age 64, a Malaysian, was appointed as Independent Non-Executive Director of TM on 3 October 2018. He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of London in 1982 and obtained a Master of Laws from the University of Cambridge in 1984. He is a Barrister-at-law of Gray’s Inn. He is admitted to the Bar of England and Wales (1983), the Malaysian Bar (1985) and the Singapore Bar (2007).

Hisham Zainal Mokhtar, age 62, a Malaysian, was appointed as Independent Non-Executive Director (INED) of TM on 3 October 2018 and appointed as Senior Independent Director on 30 May 2024.

Afhzal, aged 48, a Malaysian, was appointed as Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of TM on 1 December 2021. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, New York USA.

Afhzal is currently the Employees Provident Fund’s (EPF) Chief Digital Technology Officer (CDTO). As CDTO, he is responsible for driving digital technology strategy, business digital enablement, technology adoption and operations comprising 345 technology personnel.
