TM One conferred best data centre services provider at Telecom Asia Awards 2018
TM One, the enterprise and public sector business solutions arm of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), further strengthen its position as the leading digital enabler when it was recognised as the Best Data Centre Services Provider by Telecom Asia at the 21st Telecom Asia Awards held recently in Singapore.
The award was conferred for TM One’s dedication to deliver top-notch data centre infrastructure and best-in-class managed services to its customers.
Edwin Ng Kok En, General Manager, Data Centre and Cloud Business, TM One accepted the awards on behalf of TM during the awards presentation ceremony.
Commenting on the win, Azizi A Hadi, Chief Executive Officer, TM One said, “We would like to thank Telecom Asia for recognising TM One's achievements for the Best Data Centre Services Provider category. TM One launched its state-of-the-art IPDC located in Nusajaya Technology Park, Iskandar Puteri, Johor in November 2017. The IPDC, which has been accredited with Tier-III Constructed Facilities by the Uptime Institute, was designed to fulfil hosting, cloud and IoT requirements of business and enterprise customers as well as public sector in realising their digital transformation. In tandem with the IPDC, the Klang Valley Data Centre (KVDC) which is currently under construction, is set to become TM One’s ‘Twin Core’ and hybrid cloud strategy to enable businesses to realise the full potential of their digital opportunities. TM currently has 11 data centres located across Malaysia, as well as in Hong Kong and the United States.
Marking its 21st anniversary, as the region’s longest running and most prestigious industry award, the Telecom Asia Awards aims to recognise and reward Asia’s premiere service providers and executives in the telecom industry.

TM collaborates with Bintang Urusjuta for the first digital home in Melaka
Taman Anjung Gapam becomes the first digital home in Melaka with move-in ready unifi and digital home services Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) through its enterprise and public sector business solutions arm, TM ONE and a local property developer, Bintang Urusjuta (M) Sdn Bhd today launched their first Digital Home project in Melaka at Taman Anjung Gapam. The development is the first housing project in Melaka that is ready with various digital home solutions. At the same event, TM ONE and Bintang Urusjuta also signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) for the appointment of TM ONE as the strategic partner for the deployment of digital home solutions at Taman Anjung Gapam. With the deployment, Taman Anjung Gapam Melaka now has been recognised as the first housing project in Melaka to enjoy the digital home through high-speed broadband connectivity. The agreement was signed by Ahmad Taufek Omar, Chief Executive Officer, TM ONE while Bintang Urusjuta (M) Sdn Bhd was represented by Yeow Ho Lock, its Managing Director. The ceremony was witnessed by YAB Adly Zahari, Chief Minister of Melaka. Also present at the event were YB Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Communications and Multimedia; YB Kerk Chee Yee, Exco Communication, Multimedia, NGOs, Youth Development and Sports of Melaka; and Tuan Haji Rosli Man, Chairman of TM. Commenting on the latest collaboration, Ahmad Taufek said: "We are proud and excited to be the strategic partner in establishing the first Digital Home in Melaka. With the launch today, Anjung Gapam housing project is now equipped with digital home services through unifi's high-speed broadband connectivity. This digital home services will enable home owners of Anjung Gapam to enjoy high speed internet access, along with other digital services such as unifi TV, Digital Home Hub, Security Warning System, Smart Plug and Sensor Movement through its dedicated digital application. The implementation of this digital home by TM is in line with Malaysia's Digital Nation aspiration. Besides digital homes, TM is also ready to implement other digital solutions such as traffic management system, street light system, city wide surveillance system and parking system." "TM via its innovative and comprehensive products and solutions will continue to lay the foundation for Industrial Revolution 4.0 and rolling out 5G nationwide - serving a more digital society and lifestyle, digital businesses and industry verticals, as well as digital Government. In addition, digital home Anjung Gapam helps to raise buyers' standard of living towards a digital lifestyle in line with our slogan "Enriching Lifestyle the Smart Way". Under the MoA, residents of Anjung Gapam will enjoy broadband connectivity at the speed of 30Mbps and above by early November 2019. This offering includes the new 'Pay Nothing' campaign, where all new unifi subscribers will enjoy three (3) months free subscription starting 1 October until 31 December 2019. In Melaka, unifi is currently available in Bandar Melaka, Ayer Keroh, Ayer Molek, Bemban, Bertam, Klebang, Kuala Sg. Baru, Malim, Masjid Tanah, Merlimau, Simpang Ampat, Tangga Batu and Umbai. TM ONE & SIRIM ACADEMY PARTNERSHIP BOOSTS CYBERSECURITY AND AI GOVERNANCE IN MALAYSIA
KUALA LUMPUR, 6 November 2025 – TM One, TM’s enterprise and government sector solutions arm, has signed a strategic Collaboration Agreement with SIRIM Academy, a subsidiary of SIRIM Berhad, to advance Malaysia’s capabilities in information security, artificial intelligence (AI) governance, and workforce certification. The partnership combines TM One’s expertise in cybersecurity and managed services with SIRIM Academy’s recognised strengths in training, consultancy, standards development and personnel certification. Together, the two organisations will support enterprises and government agencies in closing compliance gaps, adopting global best practices, and building resilience in the digital economy. The collaboration focuses on certification and workforce readiness, supporting organisations to comply with Information Security Management Systems (ISMS, ISO/IEC 27001) and the newly introduced AI Management System (ISO/IEC 42001:2023). TM One will provide operational security capabilities for monitoring and incident response, while SIRIM Academy will deliver professional certification programmes aligning with standards requirements and national frameworks. To ensure compliance, organisations can further leverage TM One’s Managed Security Services including its Security Operations Centre (SOC), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Managed Detection and Response (MDR), and Threat Intelligence, which offers continuous protection. The agreement also facilitates joint go-to-market opportunities, with TM One or SIRIM Academy leading client engagements as needed. UMW and TM One collaboration for hybrid cloud solutions to spearhead UMW’s digitisation journey
UMW IT Services Sdn. Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the UMW Group, today signed an agreement with TM One, the enterprise and public sector arm of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (“TM”), to establish a collaboration on hybrid cloud. The agreement signifies the next stage in UMW’s digital and transformation roadmap to consolidate and improve its current data centre architecture.
