TM One conferred best data centre services provider at Telecom Asia Awards 2018
TM One, the enterprise and public sector business solutions arm of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), further strengthen its position as the leading digital enabler when it was recognised as the Best Data Centre Services Provider by Telecom Asia at the 21st Telecom Asia Awards held recently in Singapore.
The award was conferred for TM One’s dedication to deliver top-notch data centre infrastructure and best-in-class managed services to its customers.
Edwin Ng Kok En, General Manager, Data Centre and Cloud Business, TM One accepted the awards on behalf of TM during the awards presentation ceremony.

“In the current challenging era that requires advance solutions in support of the digital economy, data collection, storage, analysis and transformation into real customer insights are essential for organisations in order to drive decision making at an unprecedented volume and speed. However, legacy data centre facilities may have limited capabilities to cope with the increasing demand to properly support today's energy-demanding, high-performance big data computing. TM One launched its state-of-the-art IPDC located in Nusajaya Technology Park, Iskandar Puteri, Johor in November 2017. The IPDC, which has been accredited with Tier-III Constructed Facilities by the Uptime Institute, was designed to fulfil hosting, cloud and IoT requirements of business and enterprise customers as well as public sector in realising their digital transformation. In tandem with the IPDC, the Klang Valley Data Centre (KVDC) which is currently under construction, is set to become TM One’s ‘Twin Core’ and hybrid cloud strategy to enable businesses to realise the full potential of their digital opportunities. TM currently has 11 data centres located across Malaysia, as well as in Hong Kong and the United States.
Marking its 21st anniversary, as the region’s longest running and most prestigious industry award, the Telecom Asia Awards aims to recognise and reward Asia’s premiere service providers and executives in the telecom industry.

TM collaborates with Bintang Urusjuta for the first digital home in Melaka
Taman Anjung Gapam becomes the first digital home in Melaka with move-in ready unifi and digital home services Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) through its enterprise and public sector business solutions arm, TM ONE and a local property developer, Bintang Urusjuta (M) Sdn Bhd today launched their first Digital Home project in Melaka at Taman Anjung Gapam. The development is the first housing project in Melaka that is ready with various digital home solutions. At the same event, TM ONE and Bintang Urusjuta also signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) for the appointment of TM ONE as the strategic partner for the deployment of digital home solutions at Taman Anjung Gapam. With the deployment, Taman Anjung Gapam Melaka now has been recognised as the first housing project in Melaka to enjoy the digital home through high-speed broadband connectivity. The agreement was signed by Ahmad Taufek Omar, Chief Executive Officer, TM ONE while Bintang Urusjuta (M) Sdn Bhd was represented by Yeow Ho Lock, its Managing Director. The ceremony was witnessed by YAB Adly Zahari, Chief Minister of Melaka. Also present at the event were YB Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Communications and Multimedia; YB Kerk Chee Yee, Exco Communication, Multimedia, NGOs, Youth Development and Sports of Melaka; and Tuan Haji Rosli Man, Chairman of TM. Commenting on the latest collaboration, Ahmad Taufek said: "We are proud and excited to be the strategic partner in establishing the first Digital Home in Melaka. With the launch today, Anjung Gapam housing project is now equipped with digital home services through unifi's high-speed broadband connectivity. This digital home services will enable home owners of Anjung Gapam to enjoy high speed internet access, along with other digital services such as unifi TV, Digital Home Hub, Security Warning System, Smart Plug and Sensor Movement through its dedicated digital application. The implementation of this digital home by TM is in line with Malaysia's Digital Nation aspiration. Besides digital homes, TM is also ready to implement other digital solutions such as traffic management system, street light system, city wide surveillance system and parking system." "TM via its innovative and comprehensive products and solutions will continue to lay the foundation for Industrial Revolution 4.0 and rolling out 5G nationwide - serving a more digital society and lifestyle, digital businesses and industry verticals, as well as digital Government. In addition, digital home Anjung Gapam helps to raise buyers' standard of living towards a digital lifestyle in line with our slogan "Enriching Lifestyle the Smart Way". Under the MoA, residents of Anjung Gapam will enjoy broadband connectivity at the speed of 30Mbps and above by early November 2019. This offering includes the new 'Pay Nothing' campaign, where all new unifi subscribers will enjoy three (3) months free subscription starting 1 October until 31 December 2019. In Melaka, unifi is currently available in Bandar Melaka, Ayer Keroh, Ayer Molek, Bemban, Bertam, Klebang, Kuala Sg. Baru, Malim, Masjid Tanah, Merlimau, Simpang Ampat, Tangga Batu and Umbai. TM and Cybersecurity Malaysia join forces to strengthen national cyberspace resilience
Both companies will leverage each other’s expertise, technical capabilities and global best practices to create a safer and more robust cyber ecosystem. Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) via its enterprise and public sector business solutions arm, TM ONE, today sealed a Memorandum of Collaboration (MoC) with CyberSecurity Malaysia, the national cybersecurity specialist agency under the purview of the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia Malaysia (KKMM), to empower and strengthen the level of cybersecurity in Malaysia. The MoC was signed in a virtual event by Dato' Ts. Dr. Haji Amirudin Abdul Wahab FASc, Chief Executive Officer, CyberSecurity Malaysia and Imri Mokhtar, Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO), TM. The ceremony was witnessed by General Tan Sri Dato' Seri Panglima Mohd Azumi Mohamed (Retired) Chairman of the Board of Directors, CyberSecurity Malaysia and Tan Sri Dato' Seri Mohd Bakke Salleh, Chairman of TM. The event was also graced by the presence of YB Dato' Saifuddin Abdullah, Minister of Communications and Multimedia Malaysia. TM One and Digital Johor empower Johor with JASS smart application
New digital platform for Johor towards achieving the State’s aspiration of ‘Bangsa Johor Bestari, Ke Arah Kehidupan Lestari’ Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) through TM One, its enterprise and public sector business solutions arm together with Digital Johor Sdn Bhd (Digital Johor), a subsidiary of Kumpulan Prasarana Rakyat Johor Sdn Bhd, today officially launched ‘Jendela Aplikasi Servis dan Solusi’ (JASS) smart application towards realising the State Government’s initiatives of Digitalising Johor. The mobile application was launched in conjunction with the opening ceremony of Johor International Islamic and Halal Festival 2019 held at Persada International Convention Centre, Johor Bahru, Johor. The opening ceremony of Johor International Islamic and Halal Festival 2019 and the launch of JASS was graced by YAB Dato’ Haji Osman Haji Sapian, Chief Minister of Johor.
