Dato' Mohamed Nasri, aged 55, a Malaysian, was appointed as Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of TM on 26 August 2019 representing Khazanah Nasional Berhad (Khazanah), TM’s major shareholder. He is currently the Chief Corporate Officer and General Counsel at Khazanah.

Dato’ Mohamed Nasri holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, United Kingdom (UK). He is a Barrister-at-Law of Gray’s Inn and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1996. He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Strathclyde, UK.

He is a member of Khazanah’s Management Committee and a permanent invitee to the Investment Committee. He is Chairman of Destination Resorts and Hotels Sdn Bhd, Taman Tugu Development Sdn Bhd, Desaru Development Corporation Sdn Bhd, Think City Sdn Bhd and Desaru Development Holdings One Sdn Bhd. He is also a Director of UEM Group Berhad and a trustee of Yayasan Hasanah, a foundation of Khazanah. 

Dato’ Mohamed Nasri is the Chairman of the Board Risk and Investment Committee and a Member of the Board Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
