TM One shifts to higher gear with the launch of its 10 transformative smart solutions
The Smart Industry Showcase testament of TM One’s capabilities to accelerate Digital Nation aspirations
TM One, the enterprise and public sector business solutions arm of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), reaffirms its commitment to catapult Malaysian industries moving towards Industrial Revolution (IR) 4.0 with the launch of its ten (10) transformative smart solutions.
The smart solutions were launched by Imri Mokhtar, Chief Operating Officer, TM in conjunction with TM One's Smart Industry showcase today. Also present at the event were Ir. Ts Azizi A. Hadi, Chief Executive Officer, TM One and TM One's management team.
Imri also officially launched the Smart Industry Showcase which took place at Menara TM, for two (2) days, from 21 and 22 August 2019, carrying the tagline "Transformation Through Intelligence", and gives visitors to experience first-hand TM One's IoT capabilities in a real industrial and smart city setting.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Imri said, "Today, TM through TM One marks an exciting milestone in boosting Malaysia within the Industrial Revolution 4.0, with the launch of our 10 transformative smart solutions. TM One teams up with sap to become first local hyperscaler for partner managed cloud
This collaboration is aimed at empowering enterprise digitalisation to drive and support MyDIGITAL aspirations towards a technologically advanced economy via SAP and TM One’s Cloud infrastructure TM One, the enterprise and public sector business solutions arm of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) and SAP Malaysia Sdn Bhd (SAP), recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a strategic collaboration to accelerate the digital transformation of Malaysian enterprises and to improve their operating efficiency through digital solutions. The event also announced the appointment of TM One as the first local hyperscaler to become the Partner Managed Cloud (PMC) provider for SAP business suite solutions in Malaysia. With this appointment, TM One's α Edge (pronounced as Alpha Edge) will provide cloud infrastructure to empower SAP's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions in meeting the business needs of TM One's enterprise customers. TM One and UMW sign Memorandum of Intent to embark on co-development of digital solutions for industries in Malaysia
TM One, the business solutions arm of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) and UMW Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (UMW) today signed a Memorandum of Intent (MoI) on a strategic partnership to develop digital solutions aimed at enhancing and empowering Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR4.0) requirements for industries in Malaysia, making it more productive, agile and future-ready. The MoI was signed by Badrul Feisal bin Abdul Rahim, President & Group Chief Executive Officer, UMW Holdings Berhad on behalf of UMW Corporation Sdn. Bhd. and Dato' Noor Kamarul Anuar bin Nuruddin, Group Chief Executive Officer, TM representing TM One. Also present to witness the ceremony was Tan Sri Dato' Sri Hamad Kama Piah bin Che Othman, Group Chairman, UMW Holdings Berhad and Rosli bin Man, Chairman, TM. Through this partnership, TM One and UMW will embark on joint research activities to enable the development of a home-grown Industrial IoT (Internet of Things) platform through the integration of UMW's IoT solution on industrial machines with TM One's IoT Software Platform. The eventual combined UMW-TM IoT solution will provide remote access to machines through real-time monitoring and management system as well as optimise asset management including fleet management, energy management, utilisation and disaster management.
