TM catalyses data-driven transformation journey for Malaysian businesses with LEAP Summit 2018

TM ONE, the enterprise and public sector business solutions arm of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) today organised its inaugural LEAP Summit 2018 with the theme – “Transformation Through Intelligence. Are You Ready?”. In line with the recently launched National Policy on Industry 4.0, known as Industry4WRD by the Prime Minister, the summit was aimed at providing a platform for the Enterprise and Public Sector segments to share their dynamic thoughts and experiences in the industry. The delegates also gained insights on how innovations in digitisation, analytics, artificial intelligence and automation can create vast opportunities for businesses, industry makers and the economy as the country takes the leap into becoming a digital nation.

Throughout the one (1) day event, delegates of LEAP Summit 2018 were able to discover perspectives on global trends, business innovation strategy, Big Data analytics, artificial intelligence and smart cities through talks and panel discussion by local and international experts. Most interestingly, the summit featured Vito Di Bari, the Futurist and the ‘New European Guru of Innovation’, who delivered the keynote address on “Navigate to Accelerate Your Business Transformation in the Digital Age”. Other industry experts include Ajay Sunder, ICT Vice President, Frost & Sullivan, Riad Asmat, Chief Executive Officer, AirAsia Berhad, Azlina Azman, Senior Deputy Director at the Research, Planning and Policy Division, Public Service Department (JPA) and Ir Ts. The distinguished group of industry speakers shared an in-depth understanding in digitisation, analytics, artificial intelligence and automation innovations that can help create a guided path for business leaders to embrace the digital revolution. This is hoped to benefit businesses that are already making headway with their digital business innovation to stay ahead and competitive in the business landscape that is being reformed by rapid technological advances.

TM ONE launched its state-of-the-art IPDC located in Nusajaya Technology Park, Iskandar Puteri, Johor in November 2017. The Klang Valley Data Centre (KVDC) which is currently under construction is set to complete TM ONE’s ‘Twin Core’ and hybrid cloud strategy to enable businesses to realise the full potential of their digital opportunities. The KVDC will be ready for service by end of December 2018.

New digital platform for Bangsa Johor towards achieving the State’s aspiration of ‘Membina Dekad Baharu’ TM ONE, the enterprise and public sector business solutions arm of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) Group, today officially unveiled Johor Application Solution and Services Hub (JASS) smart application towards realising the State Government’s Johor 4.0 initiatives. OUM and TM One sign Memorandum of Understanding to establish hyperconnected digital ecosystem

The agreement was signed by Ahmad Taufek Omar, Executive Vice President/Chief Executive Officer, TM One and Prof. Dato’ Dr Mansor Fadzil, President/Vice-Chancellor, OUM. The MoU is aimed at delivering and implementing four (4) clusters of digital transformation initiatives for OUM encompassing mobile connectivity via unifi Mobile packages for students and administration staff; smart services solution - Smart Campus Management, scalable ICT solutions via TM cloud services; and TM One Collaboration tools for unified communication Solutions for OUM administration and its students. TM set to empower educational institution in Penang with dedicated premium network connectivity and smart school system solution
Smart collaboration with Wesley Methodist School Penang International elevates the institution to become the 1st school in Malaysia with an integrated digital lifestyle Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) via its business solutions arm, TM ONE recently signed a Collaboration Agreement with Wesley Methodist School Penang (International) (WMSP(I)) for the deployment and provisioning of TM’s dedicated premium network connectivity namely DOME service. Under the collaboration, TM will also be provisioning TM’s smart school system solution to the school and the total solution includes the School Management System (SMS), Learning Management System (LMS) and School Attendance System (SAS).
