KENYATAAN BERSAMA KEMENTERIAN KESIHATAN MALAYSIA, KEMENTERIAN KOMUNIKASI DAN TELEKOM MALAYSIA BERHAD
PUTRAJAYA – Next Generation Malaysian Emergency Response Services 999 (NG MERS 999) merupakan sistem kecemasan generasi baharu negara yang dibangunkan untuk menyediakan perkhidmatan lebih pantas, tepat, moden dan inklusif.
Mula beroperasi sejak 16 November 2025, pembangunan sistem ini adalah hasil kerjasama strategik antara Kementerian Komunikasi (KK), Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) dan lima agensi kecemasan utama negara, iaitu:
- Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM);
- Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM);
- Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia (JBPM);
- Angkatan Pertahanan Awam Malaysia (APM); dan
- Agensi Penguatkuasaan Maritim Malaysia (Maritim Malaysia).
KKM, KK dan TM telah menerima laporan berkaitan perkhidmatan ambulans. Walaupun insiden tersebut adalah terpencil, perkara ini ditangani secara serius dan dengan kadar segera kerana setiap panggilan kecemasan melibatkan nyawa dan kesejahteraan rakyat.
Semakan teknikal oleh TM mengesahkan bahawa sistem NG MERS 999 beroperasi seperti biasa, termasuk prosedur penyaluran kes menggunakan prinsip “nearest available” bagi memastikan aset kecemasan terhampir dapat digerakkan secepat mungkin.
Bagi pihak KKM, usaha memperkukuh respons di lapangan terus dipertingkatkan melalui penambahan ambulans, penyusunan semula penugasan petugas di kawasan strategik, serta penglibatan badan sukarela seperti Bulan Sabit Merah Malaysia, St. John Ambulans Malaysia dan pertubuhan bukan kerajaan (NGO) tempatan sebagai sebahagian daripada keupayaan respons kecemasan negara. Penilaian berterusan terhadap keupayaan koordinasi dan ketersediaan aset juga sedang dilaksanakan bersama agensi-agensi berkaitan.
Pada masa sama, Perkhidmatan 999 melalui panggilan suara kekal berfungsi sepenuhnya dan boleh digunakan seperti biasa.
Aplikasi SaveME999 pula berfungsi sebagai saluran tambahan, khususnya untuk pengguna yang memerlukan ciri komunikasi melalui teks, video dan multimedia, selaras dengan usaha meningkatkan keberkesanan dan keterangkuman respons kecemasan negara.
TM akan terus memperkukuh keupayaan sistem dan aplikasi NG MERS 999, termasuk perisian serta proses teknikal yang berkaitan, bagi memastikan prestasi dan pengalaman operasi yang lebih lancar untuk semua agensi kecemasan.

On 1 May 2022, unifi will add five (5) new channels and one (1) new streaming app onto its unifi TV platform, with another three (3) streaming apps joining unifi's content stable on 17 May 2022. The 5 new High Definition (HD) channels are beIN SPORTS 1, beIN SPORTS 3, CCTV-4, CGTN as well as unifi's very own new channel, DEGUP while the 4 new streaming apps including the aforementioned Disney+ Hotstar, are MySing, beIN SPORTS CONNECT and SPOTV NOW. With the addition of the new channels and apps, unifi TV will have a total of 74 premium channels and 15 streaming apps on its platform, enjoyable on unifi TV's media boxes or unifi PlayTV app when on-the-go. All new unifi Home broadband subscribers with unifi TV Ultimate Pack can watch Disney+ Hotstar at no additional charge, as long as their pack is active, while new subscriptions to unifi Home 100Mbps without Ultimate Pack will enjoy a 6-month access to the streaming app. Disney+ Hotstar will also be made available as an add-on at RM16.00 per month to unifi TV Varnam Plus, Aneka Plus and Ruby Plus Pack customers. unifi Home customers without any unifi TV Pack will have the option to subscribe to the streaming app a la carte at the price of RM54.90 for 3 months, with the convenience to pay through a single unifi bill. For karaoke lovers, MySing will definitely make this upcoming Raya celebrations much more memorable. It is the first and only karaoke OTT app fully operated locally in Malaysia, with more than 30,000 original karaoke content in a user-friendly interface. The most recent and latest hits can be enjoyed in HD-quality. MySing is available exclusively on unifi Plus Box and can be subscribed via unifi starting 1 May 2022 with a 30-day trial for a limited time only. The app is available a la carte at RM14.90 per month. MySing is hosted on TM One's intelligent Cloud – α Edge, an end-to-end comprehensive suite of cloud services with full stack hyperscaler capabilities. Statement on discontinuation of new registration for unifi LITE and Business Broadband
As we embrace the digital lifestyle, we can expect an increase in consumer demand for faster connectivity. To satisfy this need, Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) through unifi continues to drive digital connectivity through the accelerated expansion of fibre network nationwide. This is also in support of the Jalinan Digital Negara (JENDELA) action plan to deliver enhanced connectivity experience to all Malaysians. Towards this end, as well as in answering the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC)'s call for the provision of high-speed broadband services, unifi has discontinued new registrations for its copper-based broadband services, namely unifi Lite (Streamyx) and Business Broadband. We wish to inform that all our existing unifi Lite and Business Broadband customers will be migrated to the fibre-based unifi service in phases, expected to be completed by 2025. We will reach out to these customers via emails, letters, calls and SMSes, to ensure a seamless migration experience. Until then, all existing unifi Lite and Business Broadband customers will still enjoy their broadband service as is, with no disruption. UNIFI TV OFFERS FREE VIEWING OF OLYMPIC GAMES PARIS 2024 ON 17 CHANNELS VIA UNIFI TV APP
KUALA LUMPUR, 16 JULY 2024 – Unifi TV, Malaysia’s largest platform for premier channels and streaming apps, has been named an official broadcaster for the highly anticipated Olympic Games Paris 2024.
