TM’s All-In-One Digital Solutions With Geran Digital PMKS Madani To Accelerate MSME Digitalisation
Kuala Lumpur, 25 October 2023 - Unifi Business is set to accelerate local MSME digitalisation through Geran Digital PMKS Madani (GDPM). Recently reinforced in Budget 2024, the government aims to incentivise local MSME through the GDPM to embrace business digitalisation for business growth.
Local MSME make up 97.4% of overall domestic businesses and provide employment to 47.8% of the population. However, a majority of them (about 77%) remain at the basic stage of digitalisation.
Through this grant, MSME entrepreneurs will be able to subscribe to Unifi Business’ packages and solutions with 50% matching grant of up to RM5,000 per customer. This includes a wide range of services such as Unifi Business’ high-speed internet, Unifi Mobile Biz high-speed 4G and 5G mobile data, as well as Unifi Air Biz’s unlimited 5G data. Unifi Business will also offer solutions that are made to fit the digital needs of MSME such as: -
- Digital Marketing Solution – Digital marketing campaign professionally managed by a certified campaign manager enabling wider reach and stronger online brand presence
- Unifi eCommerce Hub – a single integrated platform to sync online and offline stores to manage product inventories, orders, monitor sales and revenue, as well as social media enquiries. Allow users to build interactive websites with live chat and built-in online payment features
- Kaspersky Small Office Security – protect important things that matter to businesses regardless of IT skill level, providing “Always On-Security for Always-On Businesses”.

In addition to the grant, MSME customers will also be able to enjoy new lower prices offered via Unifi Business’ Fibre plans. This includes a limited time promo for 100Mbps broadband for RM99 per month, which is approximately 30% lower compared to the new price.

TM & Astro collaborate to deliver high quality digital experience

unifi showcases Malaysia’s first TDD pre-5G wireless technology
The Time Division Duplex (TDD) Pre-5G Wireless technology will be deployed as an alternative at areas with infrastructure challenges to digitally connect the nation Living up to its promise to deliver more #khabarbaik, unifi today revealed that a pre-5G wireless technology has been in the works. This is the nation’s first pre-5G via Time Division Duplex (TDD) technology and it is part of unifi’s journey towards powering the nation with 5G. The project, which started in Q4 last year, has already entered its commercial phase at SetiaWalk Puchong which consists of residential blocks, mall and offices. At the showcase event, Moharmustaqeem Mohammed, Acting Executive Vice President, unifi, said, “The technology is set to improve unifi’s wireless connectivity services, especially for high-rise buildings and dense residential areas with low fixed broadband penetration, allowing for wireless internet access sharing at home and on-the-go within LTE coverage areas. This project will also address many ongoing infrastructure challenges in areas without fibre coverage, offering speed upgrades of up to 30Mbps via wireless broadband, and peak throughput may go up to 80Mbps.” “In the last few months, we have shared with you about our commitment to deliver the best internet offerings and services along with finding the best solutions using fit-for-purpose technologies to overcome our infrastructure challenges. TM INTRODUCES DIGITAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAMME FOR OVER 2000 B40 MSMEs
KUALA LUMPUR, 29 July 2025 – TM, through Unifi Business, the preferred digital solutions provider for MSMEs nationwide, has introduced Usahawan Digital TM, a nationwide programme tailored to empower 2,200 B40 entrepreneurs from the e-Kasih database, equipping them with critical digital tools and skills to thrive in the digital economy.
