TM Wins Big at PC.Com Awards 2023
TM continued to solidify its position as Malaysia’s most trusted converged telco and technology company, when it was recognised with four (4) main awards at PC.com Awards 2023 held recently, including CEO of the Year award, won by its Group Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Imri Mokhtar, making the night a special and memorable one for the Company.
The other three (3) awards included “Best Fixed Broadband Service Provider” by Unifi, Unifi Business secured “Best Business Fixed Broadband Service Provider” and “Best Enterprise Telco” went to TM One.
Present to receive the awards on behalf of TM were Shazurawati Abd Karim, Executive Vice President, TM One; Anand Vijayan, Executive Vice President, Unifi; and Ts. Mohamad Yusman Ammeran, Head of SME, Unifi Business, along with the CEO of the Year award winner Datuk Imri Mokhtar.
When accepting the CEO of the Year award, Datuk Imri said: “I am receiving this award on behalf of our 19,000 strong Warga TM nationwide. This award truly belongs to all Warga TM. Your camaraderie and your commitment is an inspiration to me and to everyone.
“I would like to extend our utmost appreciation to all our customers - our home, SME and enterprise customers - for your trust in TM to serve your needs. A special appreciation also goes to our delivery ecosystem, including our partners. Without all of you, we couldn't have achieved what we have achieved, and we couldn’t overcome the obstacles that we had overcome. So once again, thank you very much to everyone.” He further thanked PC.com for the accolade and acknowledgement.

YB TEO NIE CHING LAUNCHES ASPIRE: A WOMEN’S ADVANCEMENT PROGRAMME AT TM’S INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATION
Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) joined organisations worldwide to celebrate International Women’s Day, honouring the women of TM as well as all women spearheading innovation and technology. Supporting the United Nations’ efforts to recognise women and girls who are championing the advancement of transformative technology and digital education, the event was themed DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality and was officiated by YB Teo Nie Ching, Deputy Minister of Communications & Digital. In addressing the event, YB Teo said, “Today marks a special occasion to celebrate the efforts and contributions of women from all walks of life and to recognise their role in families, workplaces and communities. This event hosted by TM also serves as a platform for the exchange of ideas and new perspectives about gender equality especially in today’s digital realities. “As Malaysia continues to advance digitally, more conversations are needed about enabling greater inclusion and diversity in the technology and digital sector. We must also drive on why it is fundamental to ensure equal opportunities for digital literacy and access to online resources, while increasing the protection of women and girls in digital spaces.” Echoing these sentiments about equality in the digital sector, Dato’ Imri Mokhtar, TM’s Group CEO explained, “As TM progresses towards becoming a human-centred TechCo, we believe that the most crucial element for our digital future is the growth and capabilities of our talents. “With 37% of our top level management being women, we are pleased to launch ASPIRE: A Women’s Advancement Programme by TM. This 1-year leadership development programme aims to cultivate a new generation of women leaders, and tap into their unique perspectives and experiences to enrich TM’s innovation and long-term sustainability.” With the first 30 high-performing employees already on-boarded in the programme, participants will be groomed to grow their professional image and personal branding, explore skills to lead, influence, negotiate and navigate today’s workplace, and gain opportunities to connect with peers, mentors and sponsors to enhance their future career progression. This new programme serves as the latest in TM’s ongoing efforts to empower women, including its efforts to support the wider community. This includes Yayasan TM (YTM), the foundation arm of TM, which offers scholarships that have benefitted high-performing students – with 49.5% of its current scholars studying in Malaysia and overseas made up of young women. At the same time, TM’s subsidiary Multimedia University recorded that 49.3% of its employed graduates were young women – a positive reflection in enabling equal opportunities for the next generation of game-changers. Tapping into the insights of current women game-changers, the event included panellists Dr Sumitra Nair, Head and Senior Vice President Strategy & Policy, MDEC; Yuki Aizawa, Country Director Malaysia Chapter, Women in Tech Global Movement; and Mariam Jaafar, Managing Director and Partner at Boston Consulting Group, Singapore. Moderated by TM’s Chief Human Capital Officer, Sarinah Abu Bakar – who is also serving as sponsoring mentor for the ASPIRE programme with Shanti Jusnita Johari, TM’s Chief Marketing Officer – the panel addressed issues such as the role of innovation and technology in empowering women and girls in Malaysia, the gap between urban and rural use of innovative technology, and the importance of women role models for today's youth. “Today’s event and the launch of ASPIRE are part of our continuous commitment to enriching the prosperity and livelihoods of our Warga TM, and across the nation and beyond. Telecommunications operators continue to support home-based teaching and learning with free 30GB internet per month
Telcos also providing free WiFi connectivity for students at selected PPR communities and have extended operating hours of Pusat Internet Komuniti PETALING JAYA, 10 FEBRUARY 2021 – Telecommunications operators Celcom Axiata Berhad ("Celcom"), Digi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd ("Digi"), Maxis Berhad ("Maxis"), U Mobile Sdn Bhd ("U Mobile"), and Telekom Malaysia Berhad ("TM") through unifi Mobile, are continuously supporting the rakyat's learning needs with free 30GB Productivity Internet per month (free 1GB internet daily), for learning and productivity tools as well as for news website browsing until 30 April 2021. Since April 2020, all active Postpaid and Prepaid customers of the respective operators have been able to enjoy 30GB Productivity Internet per month, except for social media, gaming, video and music streaming, over and above customers' monthly data allocation from their existing plans. Customers are advised to refer to their respective operators for more information on how to access the daily free Internet offers and the list of services included. Furthermore, telco operators will continue to support the rakyat at selected People's Housing Projects (PPR) by providing free WiFi and extending operating hours of Pusat Internet Komuniti (PIK) during these challenging times. A total of 130 PPR and 54 PIK nationwide will focus on supporting students from B40 families with free connectivity that aims to facilitate Home-based Teaching and Learning (PdPR) due to the Movement Control Order (MCO). In addition to the free 30GB internet per month, the operators have also provided a special prepaid data pass for SPM and STPM students, as well as students in higher learning institutions. The prepaid data pass offers 15GB data per month for as low as RM20 per month and the passes are available for eligible students from 6 January 2021 until end of April 2021. The joint industry initiatives are part of its continuous relief efforts driven together with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia as well as the Permai Aid Package as recently announced by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin. Telecommunication operators will also continue to offer free and unlimited access to a range of information-related apps and services to ensure Malaysians stay updated on the latest credible news on COVID-19. The list includes MySejahtera and MyTrace apps, and important health websites and hotlines such as the CPRC Hotline, Ministry of Health and World Health Organization websites, and more.
TM’s Q4 revenue up 6.8%, FY2025 dividend totals 31.0 sen
KUALA LUMPUR, 25 February 2026 – Telekom Malaysia Berhad (“TM” or “the Group”) recorded a 6.8% increase in revenue to RM3.26 billion for the fourth quarter of 2025 (4Q2025) compared to corresponding quarter last year, driven by stronger momentum across its businesses as the Group closed the year on a firmer footing. Total dividends for the financial year ended 31 December 2025 (FY2025) amounted to 31.0 sen per share, reflecting the Group’s healthy financial position and execution discipline.Financial HighlightsFor FY2025, the Group’s revenue recorded a 1.4% year-on-year growth, marking its steady annual revenue growth despite an intensely competitive operating environment.Earnings Before Interest and Tax (EBIT) for FY2025 stood at RM2.03 billion, while Profit After Tax and Non-Controlling Interests (PATAMI) stood at RM1.71 billion. EBIT and PATAMI for 4Q2025 were RM215.5 million and RM222.5 million, respectively. Adjusting for employee voluntary separation requests, foreign exchange movements and selected non-recurring items, PATAMI for 4Q2025 increased by 72.8% from the same period last year, reflecting stronger underlying performance in the quarter.As TM accelerates its transition towards a more digital and technology-driven business, it remained attentive to the evolving aspirations of its workforce. During the year, TM received a significant number of voluntary separation requests from employees seeking early retirement or career transitions. As a responsible employer, TM accommodated these requests with a fair and attractive transition package. This is win-win for both parties in the long run – employees can comfortably transition to the next phase of their lives, while enabling TM to progressively align towards its future digitalisation priorities. This underscores the Group’s commitment in ensuring responsible workforce management and upholding the social pillar of its sustainability framework.In line with the Group’s performance and commitment to delivering sustainable returns to shareholders, the Board declared a second interim dividend of 14.5 sen per share and a special dividend of 4.0 sen per share. Together with the interim dividend of 12.5 sen per share announced at mid-year, this brings the total dividend for FY2025 to 31.0 sen per share. This amounts to approximately RM1.19 billion or about 70% of reported PATAMI, the highest payout ratio since 2018.For FY2025, capital expenditure was maintained at 16.1% of revenue, within the Group’s full-year guidance.Reflecting on the results, Amar Huzaimi Md Deris, Group Chief Executive Officer of TM said, “FY2025 was a year where we demonstrated our ability to grow while maintaining strong execution discipline in a competitive environment.At the same time, we balanced the needs of our various stakeholders. This positions the Group on a stronger footing as we move into the next phase of growth.
