Organised annual TM Integrity Day 2022, in collaboration with MACC, SIRIM, PDRM, IIM, TI-M and others
TM adopts the highest level of integrity and ethics that uphold the standard of its employees’ behaviour and conduct by championing high integrity and anti-corruption practices in its working environment. It reflects TM’s commitment in adhering to good corporate governance and fulfilling its responsibilities towards investors and other stakeholders. This is maintained through rigorous awareness, internalisation and enforcement efforts guided by its ethics and integrity policies.
To demonstrate its commitment and continuous effort to upholding high integrity, governance, and transparency in its business operations, Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), has organised its annual TM Integrity Day 2022 (TMID) on 1 November 2022, in conjunction with the National Integrity Day which is observed every November. The many highlights of TMID included MS ISO 37001:2016 certification handover by SIRIM, recitation of the corruption-free pledge followed by a forum entitled, “Uncompromising Integrity”.
The TMID 2022 was launched by Datuk Seri TKPj. Norazlan Mohd Razali, Deputy Chief Commissioner (Prevention) of Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), witnessed by Tan Sri Mohammed Azlan Hashim, Chairman of TM Group and Imri Mokhtar, Group Chief Executive Officer of TM. Also present were Datuk Ir. (Dr) Khairol Anuar Tawi,Chairman SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd, while Datuk Wan Suraya Wan Mohd Radzi, Chief Executive Officer of Malaysian Institute of Integrity (IIM), and Dato’ Allaudeen Abdul Majid, Deputy Director, Department of Integrity and Standard Compliance (JIPS) PDRM attended as panelists for the forum, moderated by Dr. Muhammad Mohan, President of Transparency International Malaysia (TI-M).
TM’s proprietary Organisational Anti-Corruption Plan (OACP) 2021–2025 launched last year, was developed to closely align with the National Anti-Corruption Plan (NACP) 2019-2023 geared towards improving transparency, and embedding the principles of integrity, good governance, compliance, and accountability in ensuring governance in the public and corporate sectors in Malaysia. TM OACP is one of the policies developed in tandem with Section 17A of the MACC Act 2009, in accordance with the standards set by IIM.
“At TM, "Uncompromising Integrity" is one of the corporate values that must be embraced by every TM employee to fulfill our responsibilities to all stakeholders. We take any misconduct that involves integrity in this organisation very seriously,” said Tan Sri Mohammed Azlan.
“I hope that all TM employees and Business Partners will continue to carry out the best duties and responsibilities to the company in the effort of TM to drive the aspirations of Digital Malaysia,” he added.
“Our OACP is a 5-year plan to further strengthen TM’s existing ethics and integrity ecosystem among Warga TM, business partners, vendors and suppliers. The OACP clearly defines the focus areas and strategic initiatives to mitigate corruption, integrity and governance risks. It is the duty of every TM employee and business partners to act in the best interest of TM and maintaining the highest degree of integrity, transparency, and accountability,” he further commented.
At the event, Imri led the citation of the corruption-free pledge together with Tan Sri Azlan, TM Board of Directors, Senior Management, Business Partners and all Warga TM nationwide in the presence of Datuk Seri TKPj. Norazlan. The pledge is an oath voluntarily taken by TM’s leadership and its employees proclaiming their commitment to carrying out their duties with transparency, responsibility and accountability.
Good governance rests with the people. As TM evolves into a human centred TechCo, Warga TM must be empowered in upholding the company values. TM’s company-wide efforts to instill a high level of integrity amongst Warga TM began in 2002 by establishing various policies and guidelines such as TM OACP, certified Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) for high-risk divisions, TM Code of Conduct & Business Ethics, Whistle Blowing Policy, Anti-Corruption Guidelines, Ethics Hotline and several others to infuse transparency, accountability and responsibility amongst its employees and Business Partners.

TM Q3 PERFORMANCE IMPROVES ON STRONGER EXECUTION DISCIPLINE
KUALA LUMPUR, 24 November 2025 – Telekom Malaysia Berhad (“TM” or “The Group”) today announced its financial results for the first nine months of 2025 ended 30 September 2025 (YTD 2025), recording a Profit After Tax and Non-Controlling Interests (PATAMI) of RM1.49 billion, up compared to the same period last year. At the same time, the Group registered PATAMI of RM686.3 million in Q3 2025 compared to RM465.1 million in Q3 2024. The higher PATAMI reflects the Group’s execution discipline, coupled with one-off items recognised during the quarter. Group revenue grew 2.6% to RM2.99 billion in Q3 2025 compared to corresponding quarter last year, with Earnings before Interest and Tax (EBIT) rose 12.9%, to RM619.8 million, reflecting improved product and services margin, productivity gains and disciplined cost management. Amar Huzaimi Md Deris, Group Chief Executive Officer TM said, “TM’s stronger third-quarter results underscore our momentum in transformation and new growth areas. The improved performance reflects our consistent focus on execution discipline and commitment towards value creation. We are executing our strategy with vigour, solidifying our core business, scaling up our sovereign data centre and cloud infrastructure for growth, while embedding AI across our operations to drive long-term competitive advantage. As we move into the final quarter, our priority is to ensure growth in profitability whilst continue to invest strategically in future-ready infrastructure that will catalyse the nation’s digital economy, driving inclusivity for all. This is in line with our aspiration of becoming a Digital Powerhouse by 2030 while positioning Malaysia as the digital hub for ASEAN,” Amar added. Revenue-generating Investments and Value Creation Capital expenditure stood at 14.9% of revenue, within the Group’s full-year guidance, reflecting disciplined execution in strategic investments. The expansion of its data centres in the Klang Valley and Iskandar Puteri has progressed into operational phase with 20 MW additional capacity now available, reinforcing Malaysia’s position as a regional hub for hyperscalers and cloud service providers. Together with improved asset utilisation and earnings performance, these disciplined investments have translated into the highest Return on Invested Capital (ROIC) to date of 13.5%. The improved ROIC has contributed positively towards value creation for all stakeholders. Overall, TM maintains a positive outlook for the remainder of 2025.
TM enhances young graduates employability with its TM Protégé Programme
TM PROTÉGÉ Ready to Work (RTW) programme is in line with Government’s effort to raise the employability level of graduates Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) continuously empower Malaysian graduates with its education-oriented and skill enhancement programmes. Most recently, the Company enrolled participants for its Ready to Work (RTW) programme, namely Professional Training and Education for Growing Entrepreneurs or PROTÉGÉ, in line with the Government's effort in raising the employability level of the graduates. This PROTÉGÉ programme or previously known as Program Skim Latihan 1Malaysia (SL1M) is under the supervision of PROTÉGÉ Secretariat and the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (MEDAC). The main objective of this programme is to improve the marketability and entrepreneurial skills of unemployed graduates, including through on-job-trainings and guidance programmes in collaboration with industry experts. It is also aimed at producing more entrepreneurs and job creators who are competitive, meet the current industry need and ready for the global market. TM recently held an engagement session - 'Majlis Ramah Mesra TM bersama PROTÉGÉ' - with the participants of its latest TM PROTÉGÉ Programme intake at Dewan Tun Canselor, Multimedia University (MMU), Cyberjaya. Farid Basir, Chief Human Capital Officer, TM attended the event and shared some tips and thoughts on career growth and development with the participants. Also present at the event were Norhadznita Hj Mohammad Ilham, Head Secretariat PROTÉGÉ, MEDAC, Prof. Dato' Dr Mazliham Mohd Su'ud, President of MMU, Norkhairul Wahab, Chief Executive Officer, MMU Cnergy and Badrul Hisham Bahari, Chief Executive Officer, GITN Sdn Bhd. Since 2011, under the SL1M programme, TM has trained 2,846 graduates. The initiative was then continued with PROTÉGÉ, which saw 140 participants selected for the first intake in February 2020. They are currently undergoing on-the-job training at TM and GITN Sdn. Bhd, a subsidiary of TM. In September 2020, the programme continues with its second intake of 169 participants who are now attending soft skills training at MMU, Cyberjaya. The eight (8) months intensive programme consists of soft skills classroom and online training for one (1) month, followed by on-job-training (OJT) for seven (7) months. There are seven (7) core soft skills modules involved including communications, technical and management skills required by the industry as well as effective work ethics. The OJT will prepare the participants with a career mindset and enable them to experience the real working environment. This second intake is expected to graduate in April 2021. TM PROTÉGÉ is among the major initiatives under TM's Graduates Employability Programme. In the near future, TM will also introduce a new graduates' trainee programme for the undergraduates. In the meantime, TM, through its education arm, MMU will continue to support the Government's aspiration towards a digital era ready workforce particularly in the fields of IT, communications and multimedia especially in the current Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR4.0) era. Since its establishment 22 years ago, MMU has produced over 60,000 graduates with high marketability, including for major players in the industry. Additionally, since its establishment in 1994, TM's foundation, Yayasan Telekom Malaysia (YTM) has awarded education sponsorship to more than 15,000 deserving students of high academic calibre to pursue their studies at government schools and universities in Malaysia and abroad, with a total sponsorship value of over RM549.5 million.
